Your Guide to Arab & Muslim Businesses in San Antonio

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

San Antonio is home to a large and growing Arab and Muslim community. But for years, finding the right business — a doctor who speaks Arabic, a halal grocery store, a contractor who understands your culture — meant asking around in WhatsApp groups and social media posts. Recommendations would get buried in conversations, lost in threads, and impossible to find when you needed them most.

Dalilo was built to solve that problem.

One Directory. One Place. Always There.

Instead of scrolling through old WhatsApp messages or posting “does anyone know a good…?” for the tenth time, Dalilo gives our community a permanent, searchable home for every Arab and Muslim business in San Antonio. No more lost recommendations. No more repeating the same questions. Just search, find, and connect.

The Name

Dalilo combines “دليل” (dalil) — the Arabic word for guide — with the spirit of Galileo, the great explorer who mapped the stars and helped people see the world in a new way. Dalilo is your guide to discovering the businesses and services right in your own community.

Built by the Community

Dalilo was founded and built from the ground up by Shaza Atassi — a San Antonio community member who saw the problem firsthand and decided to build the solution. Every line of code, every listing, every design decision was made with one goal: make it easier for our community to find and support each other.

Our Promise

Dalilo is free for businesses to list and free for the community to use. We believe every Arab and Muslim business in San Antonio deserves to be found — and every member of our community deserves to find them.
